Here's the situation. My DH and I are planning our first trip in Nov 08. We are staying in a condo but want to have a few good dinners at WDW. DH is more of a normal meat and potatoes guy, but he will try some new things at times. I enjoy trying everything and don't want meat and potatoes at every meal. What would be some good dining options for us?

Most all the restaurants have food for us 'Meat and Taters' guys.

If you can get ADRs: Le Cellier, 50s Prime Time, Crystal Palace, Rainforest Cafe and most of the 'Resort' restaurants will take care of both of you.

Goto: www.allearsnet.com and click 'Dining'. Deb has all the menus and prices.

It's how I check to see if there is anything I will eat.

I agree with checking out the menus. If you guys enjoy seafood you would love Flying Fish. I'd also suggest JIKO too!!:goodvibes

When my hubby and I go we always try to visit at least one resort restaurant each time. That way we not only get to check out the restaurants, but also get to check out the resort. Last Fall we went to Cornado Springs and ate at the Pepper Market. It turns out to be one of our favorites. They have a number of different food stations to choose from .... Italian, Deli, Steaks, Mexican, Chinese. The prices were really reasonable and if you are on the dining plan it only counts as 1 counter service. Nice atmosphere too.

Definitely schedule a few meals at WDW... some of the restaurants are themed and interesting/fun.

When the park calendars are available, look at the park hours and try to decide where you'll be each day.

Epcot has some of the best restaurants... Le Cellier, Coral Reef (one entire wall is an aquarium) Teppan Edo, etc.

Boma or Jiko are in the Animal Kingdom Lodge... good food and a great way to check out the resort.

At the California Grill in the Contemporary Resort, if you schedule the timing right... you can view Wishes... Magic Kingdom's nightly fireworks.

Read menu at the allears site.
