On the 14 day trip there will be no getting away from it, whilst some ships have 'ship time' and they do not adjust their time night by night in differnet time zones,
DCL tends to adjust to the local time.
There are advantages and disadvanatages, but the main one is getting back to the ship at the correct time, and not finding it has left.
Now I have done a panama cruise before but Westwards and you gain 3 hours and put your clocks back three seperate times.
On DCL next year I am coming back so from CL to FL you will loose 3 hours on three separate nights as you cross time zones, usually the closest sea day.
They will post a note on your navigator saying when you go to bed change your clocks by one hour.
Of course there isnt an 'option' on this trip, you cannot have ship time, as when to leave you are in a diffrent post and state and you would have had to change your clocks anyway.
You can only do ship time if you start and finnish your trip in the same time zone.
We had the additional 'hour' on are halloween cruise when Daylight saving time started as well.
