Experiencing FoP full queue at park opening?

I got to the security point at 7:25 on a "regular" day. Security opened at 7:30 and I found it very easy to stay near the front of the pack with a bit of a power walk but no running. It really helps to be bagless. I also recommend the turnstile as far to the left as possible. I lined up next to the PPO breakfast line.

Not sure about EMH.

A 120 minute wait isn't a "general" general standby line for FOP though. Since the ride opened, the wait times had been over 200 (or 300) minutes all day - even at park closing. I wonder what the record was for last guest exiting the ride - after 3:00 a.m.!

I looked through some of the Touring Plans data and I'm not seeing waits anywhere near 200-300 minutes at closing time, even when the attraction first opened. On opening day for example, the posted wait was 250 minutes by 9 am, dropped to 200 minutes around noon then slowly decreased throughout the late afternoon and evening until around 11 pm when the posted time was 90 minutes.

This seems to be the trend for this ride on each of the dates that I checked: Extremely high (240 minutes plus) in the morning through about noon, very high in the afternoon (150-200 minutes) then gradually dropping throughout the remainder of the day with the shortest waits (<100 minutes) after about 8 pm.

Given that the posted wait times are historically inflated, I would be very surprised if anyone was still waiting after 1 am and surely not 3 am. With an typical midnight close, I would expect that the line is almost always empty by 12:30 or so.
