Experiences with hotels.com?

Has anyone used hotels.com and if so, what did you think?

Thinking about using them for Williamsburg, VA. (King's Creek Plantation).

I've found them to be overpriced for Orlando, haven't tried them for other cities.

Try www.hotelkingdom.com and compare the prices.

I've used them twice for hotels in Chicago and have been VERY pleased.

$99.00 for a $289.oo room at the Hotel Monaco downtown. A great hotel and a great deal. I recommend them highly.

hotels.com was the only place I could find to book this certain vacation rental I wanted so . . .

I just did it online and then followed up by calling their customer care line with a couple of questions/requests. The rep was very nice and helpful, so I've already got a good impression.

Hope this turns out well. We're going this coming weekend and I'm so looking forward to the trip!
