Planning one night @ Country Inn & Suites for only one night before checking in AKL. Any experiences....

Which one?

I've stayed at the one in LBV and really enjoyed it - great room, good (and free) breakfast.

Yes the one in Lake Buena Vista.

I prefer the one in Calaypso Cay. It's only about 2 miles from DTD.

For only 1 night, I guess it really doesn't matter.

The LBV location is off US 535, just down from the entrance to Dtwn Disney and the Crossroads area. It's in a strip mall that has (if I remember correctly) a Tony Roma's restaurant, a bakery, and an Eckerd Drugstore.

I enjoyed my stay here -- I was there for 3 nights. Pool is a little small, but I didn't use it. They had fresh cookies at the front desk (free and available all the time). Service was ok, definately won't compare to service at AKL :D .

PM me if you have any other questions that I may be able to answer.

Hope this helps

We've stayed (1 night each time) at Calyso Cay and have always had a great experience there. The breakfast is nice, we love to eat on the patio. There are 3 pools, playground, poolbar, and free mini golf. The rooms are clean and the staff is pleasant.

We stayed there last summer for 1 night. They are very friendly and our room was very nice. My daughter is in Disney now and she stayed there last night. She also enjoyed it. We got an internet rate of 49.00 a night. We stayed at the one across from Downtown Disney.
