Experiences combining gift cards onto one???

I wish I could buy a giant $500-1000 gift card at Target, buying a bunch of $50/$100 is a pain to enter in and transfer the balances .. but in general well worth it due to the 5% discount from the Red Card.

I have bought the $500 gift cards on Target's website with my Red Card and gotten the discount. I have not tried it this year, but I did it a few times in 2017.

Didn't know they had those online.

That will be helpful ... as I plan on getting Annual Passes with gift cards in November to save an extra 5% (about $45 off per AP).

And since those aren't cheap ... That will be a lot easier than getting dozens of $50 or $100 ones! I will check! Thanks

Has anyone tried to use this site in the next 24 hours? I just tried to use this site and had to delete an old gift card in order to add another and it won't let me delete 1 of the 5 I have on there. Not happy because I have a trip coming up in next few days. I did it the other day without any problems but now it keeps saying Please try again later.

Using the gift card website is easy -- just a pain because they only let you keep 5 on there, so you need to add a few, transfer the balance, and then delete the empty ones.

You actually can save yourself the add and delete step. You can transfer balances without adding a card to your profile first.

From the top, just click Manage Cards, then Transfer Balance. It'll bring up any cards you have in your account, and then under that there's a button to enter card information. Using that, you can just enter the card number and pin, choose the card you want to transfer it to, and then you're done.
