Experiences booking FP once you arrive....

we arrive in 11 days and since we have't purchased our AP's yet, we can't book FP....has anyone had experiences with this and how did it go?

Just a note…

If you order your AP's now (or before the trip, in general) as "Will Call" (pick-up at WDW,)
you can make FP+ reservations immediately as long as you're within your 30-day window.
(Or 60-day window with a WDW Resort stay booked.)

I would say it depends on the size of your party and what attraction you are trying to visit.

I was there solo last month and some days were really bad (really, really bad) weather wise, so I was changing parks, times and attractions on the fly. As a solo, I could even change 7DMT and A&E around with no issues. But the more people you are trying to get FP for, the harder it will be last minute. If you aren't trying for those two, it will be even easier.
