We took our time in the morning and didn't wake our daughter up. She's much more pleasant when she gets up on her own. In the past we've done naps in the parks and naps at the hotel. We found it just as easy to do it in the stroller in the park. We have locations at each park where we take a break in the shade or in a restaurant to give our DD time to nap. We found that a quick 45 minute to one hour power nap was all she needed. Then she would be ready to cash out around 10. If we planned on doing a late night extra hours event, then we went back to the room, closed up the room and made it pitch black. Then we all crashed for a couple hours.
