We are going back....Hurray!!!! But this time with a brood of 28-31 of my family members for a reunion in March 2009.

We (12 of us) stayed in Sunset Lakes last time, and loved the villa and its location, but that development doesn't seem to have as many HUGE houses.

So we found "Sweetbreezesvillas" specifically the side by side 6 bedrooms, called "Half Moon Bay" and "Laguna Breeze" for $299 a night inclusive of pool heat, taxes and cleaning...seems pretty reasonable. Emerald Island seems to be a great place...so do the houses....but I'd feel a bit better if somebody here at the DIS could share any personal experience. I'd hate to fail as teh family trip planner.

Thanks for your help.

we are staying in Emerald Island at the Magnificent 7 (7 bedroom) in March. Website is www.villasindisney.com. We know the area and the houses are huge. Just contact some owners and see if they can refer multiple houses. They usually know the owners of properties in the neighbourhood.

I don't know those villas, but we have styed twice in EI and loved it both times. It is a very lovely resort with close proximity to the Disney parks.

Do you have the owners name? PM me and I may have some information for you.

The resort is centrally locate, close to the parks, restaurants, shopping and a new mini golf we have not tried as of yet. Maybe in Feb. when we are down.

Do not know those villas either, our first trip to EI is in a couple weeks, will let you know how we like our 4BR place.

Mo-yo, be careful and check your occupancy. I have read on the boards that Florida law allows no more than 12-14 people (babies included) to occupy a 6-BR place. If you have 31 people, two villas may not work. FWIW.
