Experience with SW Bonus Points Being Posted?

I signed up for the credit card through a website referral link offering the 50,000 bonus points. I received the card within days and less than two months later met the $2,000 spending threshold right before my closing date on 10/25 (yesterday). However, only the "dollar-for-dollar" points for the month posted; the 50,000 bonus points have not. Should I be worried? I did send an online message but haven't received a response. I did take a screen shot of the offer form and approval screen that also advertised the offer, if that's needed. Just wondering if it takes a few days after statement closing or what, to ease my mind. Thanks!

Take a look under the "offer details" on the screenshot that you took. It should say something about how long you should allow for points to be credited to your RR account. The fine print from an offer recently linked on here says that it takes 6-8 weeks. IIRC, it took around 8 weeks from the time that I reached the purchase threshold for my Chase Sapphire account and the SWA card is also administered by Chase, so I would assume that it's a similar waiting period.

When I did my 50,000 bonus point offer it was after the first purchase (this was about 4 years ago). If I remember correctly it took about 4 weeks after the end of the closing date before my RR account showed the bonus points.

mine has always shown up within 2-4 days after the statement closes.

Spent my $2,000 in the beginning of October. Paid the charge on October 17 (prior to receiving the statement... I believe the statement was due October 19th?). Got my points 2 business days after, since the 17th was a Friday. Booked our flight the same day.

in my experience about 2 days after statement closes on which spend was reached, call them and ask about the points, it can't hurt- they can usually tell you their timeline on the phone

Mine took about a week on my personal card and two on my business card.

If you meet the spend very close to your closing date people have mentioned that it can be until the next statement before they post.

Thanks for the good feedback. I will call in the next day or two if I don't see the bonus points have been added. Is it a bad sign that I've already received the "typical" points (approx 2,000 for $2,000 in spending) or do you receive those in addition to the bonus points? Thanks!

You receive those in addition to the bonus points, so no, that is totally normal.

On one of my SW Visas I met the spending amount 3 days before the statement closing. I didn't receive my bonus points so I called and was told that since it was so close to statement closing there wasn't enough time to credit the bonus points. They were awarded on the next statement closing.
