Experience with low level laser therapy (LLLT)?

Also known as cold laser therapy, a friend of mine recommended I look into this for chronic bursitis and tendonitis. My doctor is looking into it but told me he believes its safe for metal implants. Anyone out there have experience with LLLT?

I was thrown from a horse and injured my back (muscle not disc or anything else). I couldn't walk when I went in for my cold laser treatment. I walked out after one treatment almost perfect. I did one more session - but I really was better. I am not a big believer in chiropractors or anything else like this. But it really did work for me. I think it is worth a try!
