Experience with Dollar Express

Quick question- I did add my Dollar express info to my reservation, so all I need to do is go straight to the garage, correct? Do I just follow the signs to car rental or are there separate signs to the garage? Traveling alone with my 2 year-old so I really don't want to be wondering around the airport. Thanks!!!

If I sign up for Dollar Express under my name with my driver's license will my DH be able to drive the car? Or would there be an extra fee for another driver...I feel more comfortable with him doing the driving.

We used dollar in March out of Nashville airport. They said it would be an extra charge to have me drive the car too. It was something like $15-$20 extra a day so we said forget it. Dh had to do all of the driving.

We just returned and our experience was Dollar was great. We were lucky to get those wonderful rates a few months ago. $117 for a full size car. Signed up for Express. Went directly to the garage. They had the Altima waiting and we left within 10 minutes.

When we rented in April they didn't even mention it to us I don't think. Just decline it and go through the cash toll lines. I always get a receipt just in case there is a question though

They have an opt-in program that's $8.99/day and based on a registration plate scanner system. We don't use that for Orlando as there just aren't enough toll roads/toll booths to make it worthwhile.
We did use it in January while in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area and found it to be pretty handy as we were constantly using unmanned toll roads all the time.

Bring a roll of quarters and keep them in your vehicle. Some exits do not have attendants. You will need a SunPass or Quarters to exit there.
