Tell me your experience with buses since the parks reopened. Are the waits long because the buses fill quickly due to reduced capacity? I am especially curious at bus waits around park opening time. I know zones have been developed on the bus; how close are you to other parties?

Wait time has been fine, actually better than “normal.” We had to wait for a second bus to come yesterday to get to DHS for opening. A transportation CM was at the Poly stop. Busses were staged at the Contemporary. The next bus arrived within three minutes.

The busses will stay at the stop longer than normal. If the bus fills, it will depart. If not, expect to sit on the bus for awhile.

When DO they start sending buses out? Wondering if we use a bus to get to DHS will we make it for the 10am opening From BLT.

That makes a lot of sense, so long as there's a maximum time limit until departure. Don't know why they didn't think of it sooner.

Most seemed to be running about 1 hour before opening. We boarded a bus at 9:15 for Hollywood Studios on opening day. We were through the gate by 9:45. We stayed at the Poly.

They were running 3 buses at a time to/from Pop/the parks this past week, seeing as each bus can only accommodate 6 parties. Never waited long for a bus.

For those that have experienced buses at the moderate and deluxe resorts, are there queues or anything now at the bus depots that allow people to "line up"? In the past, the bus depots were a bit of a free for all, and only a handful of people would respect who was there first, allowing those people to board first. With reduced capacity and the chance to be bumped to the next bus, I can envision people running to the bus when it pulls up if there's not queue or something in place to manage the people waiting.

On a related note, I've read they instruct you where to board and sit based on your party size. I take it this means the driver steps off the bus and puts people on one group at a time to accomplish this?
