I provided this feedback to Disney already, but I thought I'd share it here as well.
I'll start with a disclaimer: I'm thrilled to be a new member via resale and completely understand that I am not eligible for the membership benefits of a direct "blue card" member.
That being said, I wish the experience on the website and email promotions would reflect the benefits of the two groups. When I log into the member website, it is littered with offerings and updates that aren't valid for me and I get emails about things like DVC member cruises that I'm ineligible for.
I'm not sure if they just don't care or consider it marketing for me to add-on direct, but it isn't as welcoming as it could be for a new member.
