will it be open sometime in that period. cause me and my family are going just to ride it. if you have any answers that be great :thumbsup2

Hi,

It will pretty much be open most of the time from now until April 7, which is when it will officially open.

But there is always the possibility that it will not be open when you are ready to ride it. Check with a CM as you enter the AK. If you ask at the hotel, it may be running at that point but closed by the time you get to the AK.

Have fun!

Bob

I think it's pretty much open as of now.
You can always look at the wait time board as you get into AK, if it's open, you'll see the wait time.

When we were there for during the soft opening for Soarin' (2 weeks before official opening), one day it not open until about 4pm (this was mid week). On the Saturday following Soarin' opened with the park.

Chances are EE should be open.

We will be visiting Animal Kingdom on 1 of our days in Florida mid-March.
We are soooooooo hoping to catch this ride in soft opening!
I am even dreaming about what I think this ride is going to be like!
If it is open I will probably be screeching and jumping up and down while I am waiting in line........ it would be so rockin.
I am soooooo keeping my fingers crossed...we want to see the Yeti!!!!!! :woohoo:

:thumbsup2  :woohoo:

Awesome!!!

We will be there March 11 to 17, and this is definitely something we want to do!!!!

We went on Feb 23 and the standby line was about 40 mins. Than it broke down and we waited another 20-25 minutes- by than most of the people left so when the ride was working again we only had a 5 minute wait. It took about 20-25 minutes to fix the ride. It was really great. We got a fast pass before we stood in line and then got to ride it about 1 hour after the first ride.

btw, EE has a single rider line. When we went in the standby line (40 min wait) the single rider line had no wait. However, each rider needs to be over 7 to ride alone so we couldn't do it.

I hope its up and running when you are there so you can ride it. Someone posted that they rode it during the EMH evening at AK- 5 times with no wait!
