Expedition Everest?

Hi everyone just wondering if there has been anything new about when the ride will be ready?

According to one website I read, Exp. Everest will open April 22nd to coincide with the 10th Anniversary of the Animal Kingdom. I don't know how accurrate that it, but that what the site was reporting.

the other website i look at has pictures of the construction ever now and again, it looks like its coming along very very nicely and as far as the exterior looks as though April might actually be a little late. I know they have already tested the cars which means that the systems and the track and all that MUST be finished. It seems that its just theme and CM trainning thats left.
Of course i cant say this for sure its just my own opinion.

Sometimes they preview the ride way before its supposed to Officially Open. I know it seems like we did Mission Space about a month before its official opening!

This is the latest picture I have of Expedition Everest - it was taken on Saturday Sept 10th. Looks like it is coming along - I know I will have to make another trip when it opens (what am I talking about I KNOW I will be making at least 1 trip or more before it opens!!! LOL)

I'm sure there will be a soft opening prior to April 22nd. More than likely the soft opening would take place in Late March.

It can't be the 10th anniversary - Animal Kingdom opened in 1998.

I think the website was off on the 10th Anniversary of Animal Kingdom. The actual grand opening of the Animal Kingdom was April 22nd 1998. That would make it 8 years upcoming in 2006. I noticed the reference to 10 years was removed when I just checked it.

That is true. I just happen to be there when they did the soft opening for RnR at MGM. That was great.
