Expedition Everest

Allearsnet.com is reporting that Everest is expected to have their official grand opening in April 06 That could mean soft openings for our March 4-12 trip. I am so excited about this ride. Spread some pixie dust on the workers so the can complete it ahead of schedule.

I saw the building site when i was there last week, it looks huge. I was looking forward to a soft opening of ShaKra at Busch Gardens on my hoilday but it didnt open until 2 weeks after we left aaargh! Here's wishing you some pixie dust.

We are going mid-March '06, I hope it's open then! My boyfriend and I got so excited when we were @ the World last March and saw the progress that they were making on this ride - we took photos and can't wait to ride! It looks like a truly awesome ride.

I can't wait for Expedition Everest to open! I'm going this August and it obviously won't be open when I go, but I'm excited to see what it looks like so far, it looks awesome in pictures. I have no idea when my next trip will be after this one, but I hope your family is able to ride it when you go!

I wouldn't bet on it being open in March, but there is a pretty darn good chance of it.

The latest rumors point to a soft opening in January.... so let's keep our fingers crossed!

I'm praying for December, pretty far-fetched. Our December trip will be my 1st and probably only for many more years, unless I win the lotto or something.
