Ya know, I had myself very worked up about it. I read on the board that it reminded someone of a little more intense Thunder Mtn. and I think they were right. Then...I REALLY had myself worked up about the mummy ride at IOA, heck, they make you put everything in a locker for pete's sake...big mummy dudes walking around on stilts staring at you with those crazy zombie contacts in...I was freaking out. What was all they hype about, what a whimpy ride. pretty decent fire effects ( mind you, it was no Yeti but okay..) but only about 1/3 as intense as Everest. My motto this trip was, to face my fears, ride the things that I was afraid of and if I hated it I never have to do it again but at least I would have tried it. I rode everest twice (then it got hot and crowded and we park hopped) I'd ride it again now. It was very fun and not overly intense.
