:confused3 Going to the world soon and I my husband is 6'2" and 250 lbs. and I was woundering if the seats on EE are large enough to hold a large size man?

BWV Studio Sister's only trip. 9-27 to 10-6 MNSSHP & FW :maleficen :drinking1
BWV 1-Bedroom family trip. 12-1 to 12-12 MVMCP & CP :santa:

Just back today, rode EE twice, I am a larger person and fit fine. Use the rule of "lower the bar as you sit " and he'll do fine. BTW...I LOVED it, I had myself prepared to be scared and it was just FUN. the drop is not anything like Splash, just as high or higher but you bank left so it doesn't seem as bad. ENJOY!!!

If you are accurate with his size info, no problem.

There is also a "test vehicle" sitting outside near the attraction to check (if you'd like) before you go through the queue.

When you are going backwards in the dark is there a drop (steep) or is it just a series of quick ups and downs? I'll have no problem with the rest of the ride but going down steep drops backwards in the dark scares me. :confused3

Rode it for the first time in Feb, Will be back to ride in 5 days cann't wait.

No, no steep drops going backwards. Enough drops to make your stomach go WHOA! but nothing too drastic.

My husband is 6ft5" and over 300 pounds...we rode it twice a few weeks ago with no problems. He was quite comfortable in the seats.

If my poor sense of balance and direction is not failing me, I believe you go UP backwards for a bit, and some turns, but no drops. Well, you go downhill for a bit when you go backwards, but again, no drops. (That would have been fun actually)

DS is 6'5" and 250 lbs. He didn't have any trouble with EE! He rode it three times!

Loved it, loved it, loved it!!

No problems at all. I'm 6'2" and 230 but I usually slide around on the seat...at least I did today. :rolleyes1

Ya know, I had myself very worked up about it. I read on the board that it reminded someone of a little more intense Thunder Mtn. and I think they were right. Then...I REALLY had myself worked up about the mummy ride at IOA, heck, they make you put everything in a locker for pete's sake...big mummy dudes walking around on stilts staring at you with those crazy zombie contacts in...I was freaking out. What was all they hype about, what a whimpy ride. pretty decent fire effects ( mind you, it was no Yeti but okay..) but only about 1/3 as intense as Everest. My motto this trip was, to face my fears, ride the things that I was afraid of and if I hated it I never have to do it again but at least I would have tried it. I rode everest twice (then it got hot and crowded and we park hopped) I'd ride it again now. It was very fun and not overly intense.
