There may already be a thread about this but have any of you been on the ride?? I went on it for the first time this trip and I loved it. What did those of you who rode it think??

Beautimous! My aunt rode it during passholder week, she said I would love it! I can not wait to go in December! I will be counting down the days to ride it! 1 question though: Is the backwards drop straight down? Or is it curved!!??

Neither one of the one's you see are the backwards drop. Actually there is no actual "drop" you just go backwards down a slope.

I rode it in Feb. 7 times. 5 one day and 2 another day. I loved it so much and can't wait to ride it in Dec. again. The yeti really looks real.

omgosh i want to go on that sooo bad.

my sister got a movie in the mail on WDW and i watched it and that was on it but at the time they taped it, it wasnt open yet and i was like omgosh i wanna go on that!! cuz they showed it on there and i saw something about it going backwards on the disney channel and missed everything else and now im happy its already opened because im going in october 2006 and cant wait to ride it!!

Actually there is a drop backwards. An 80 foot drop backwards and to me i saw a video of it and the drop is curved very slighty though!
