Expedition Everest

Has anyone here ridden it? I'm thinking about riding it, but I'm not a huge roller coaster fan... at least not with the drops. What's it like? More specifically, how bad are the drops?

Its pretty much Thunder mt. soupped up. The drop is bigger than splash mountain.

I think Splash Mountain's drop is 55 ft. And Darth Sidious said Expedition Everest's drop is about 112 ft.

55+55= 110 if a am correct, then Expedition Everest's drop is taller than two Splash Mountain big drops..

aw man. when you put it that way im kinda not so excited about it. im hoping to try it out by next month...maybe. hopefully.

But splash at DL I think is 70??????

And if anyone has been to universal -shudders- Jurassic Park and Their 'Splash' is about 80 ft?

And I think that the drop on California Screamin is like 80ft???

Expidition Everest is SO not Thunder mt. it's way better, the drops awesome, it goes upside down, and backwards. it sounds stupid but its my fave ride ever!!!!!!!!!!!

oh thank goodness i wouldve hated to back out of the ride just because it went upside down.

omg the ride is so not scary, i went there expecting a thrill ride and it wasnt. BUT the ride was still good, and the yeti is amazing, so life like (i acutally think it is the scariest part of the ride). If you can handle a mild rollercoaster i highly reccommend this because of how unique the ride is!

What's a "mild" roller coaster? My list of roller coasters is limited to Big Thunder, Barnstormer, and Rockin' Roller Coaster. Haven't ridden anything else related to a roller coaster. I'm riding Space when we go back, but that will be a first. Mom wants me to show my sister that it's really cool, but, like I said, the drops. Geez, I'm obsessed with those things. I really, really hate them. I think I'm going to ride it though. It will be on the first day of the trip, so the anticipation of a potential horrible ride (in my view), won't ruin the rest of the trip.

And no, it doesn't go upside down. How could it in that small of a space (at least it looks too small to go upside down and fit the rest of the track in the mountain (I know it threads in and out, sort of, but most of it's in the mountain, right?)?
