Do they have an official date of opening or is it still sometime in April? Planning a return trip before our april trip mar. 23 - 28 and wondering if it will be open? we are passholders and dvc members.

based on our experience tuesday, for all intents and purposes it's open now. we rode three times tuesday morning, two standby and one fastpass. I'm sure they'll continue to fine tune it, but it seems to be in good shape now.....

The disney web site is promoting EE with a Sneak Peak going on now until the official opening in April.

My buddy went over Sun, Mon, Tues and his grandson rode it many times. Looks like the "official soft-opening" has begun...

We were at MK 4 days before Stitch opened, leaving the day of the official opening. They did not have Stitch open while we were there. I figured it was so close to the opening they were making sure everything was running correctly and one last clean up. We're going Monday and hoping its open.

Commercials are running on TV for the ride telling Fl residents to come ride it. The park map still says it's the future site of Expedition Everest. When we were there last, the ride had broken down for a bit and was closed. It did re-open not too long after it broke down. There are bill boards along I-4 and neighboring roads.
