Hi could someone please tell me if EE goes upside down. What is the ride like (general question), I love space, splash and thunder but wont ride TOT or RNR would i like Everest?

Not sure if you'd like it....I describe EE as "Big Thunder meets R&RC backwards."

It definitely has similarities to Big Thunder and also to R&RC. So that means you have a 50-50 chance of liking it!

Does it have any big drops like Splash and does it go upside down?

Everest does not go upside down. It does go backwards. There is one hill which is similar to Splash but perhaps not as steep.

Thanks Goofy, are there any backwards drops? With me its fear of the unknown I like to know what Im going into.

I went on it at least five times on our visit last week. It was really a blast. While I am one who thinks RnR is tame, EE was also kind of tame for a coaster. I think it was more like Big Thunder Mtn fell down the hole to Wonderland. There are NO inversions, and really only one moderate sized drop. However, there are a number of smaller drops and it is fairly quick. It uses Space Mountain tricks of changes of direction in the dark (though more subtle) to make it more fun and unpredictable. The small drops and direction chages all occur in the darkm, both frontwards and backwards. Overall, while it is not the fastest and doesn't have the biggest drop it is still a blast. It is a really enjoyable ride with many different facets that come together well. Try it once and enjoy. Of couse if you are a control freak forget it.

How long does it go backwards? Does it keep switching you forwards and backwards? I have to take Dramamine and even with that some rides get me. I'm not sure I could go backwards. I can do TT, Splash M, Thunder M. Space M starts to get me a little. TIA

No backwards drops, just twists and turns. Kind of like Big Mountain Railroad only in the mountain
