Expedition Everest preview for AP's too!

Disney just announced that Jan 26 - 29 (which I think is also the preview DVC weekend) is also a preview weekend for passholders!

They'll also be giving away a free lanyard and pin.

Sorry if this was already posted....I didn't see a thread regarding passholders.

Does anybody have any information on what the height limits are going to be for Expedition Everest?

Height limits are usually set by the rides' manufacturer in this case Vekoma International (they are a Dutch company), this is the same company that manufactured Rock 'n Roller Coaster at MGM, usually the height restrictions for Vekoma run 48".

I got an email today. I am little bummed as I will be there Feb 9th-14th.

So I just checked out the site and this is cool. The 26th through the 29th and there does not seem to be time restriction. We will be there until noontime on the 27th so now I will have to change our plans to head over to AK after we do the Segway tour on the 26th. Wooo Hoooo!!!!

OK, OK, OK... Now if they are having (am I using the right verbage?)soft openings with AP people then... maybe they will let us unfortunate people try it too???? They wont just try it out for a couple of days and then not try it with people on it until the opening... right??? We are going Feb. 8 - 15th and hopeing we can try it too! Please tell me we might be able to try it... We will not be going back to WDW for a couple of years... Tell me, please tell me we will be able to!!!

DCK12GS: We are on the same boat here, will be there Feb 6 - 12. Last time in WDW was 99 just before they open Test Track, and on this trip TT will be on rehab the whole time. AND I hope we poor nobodys can at least get to go to the soft opening of EE.
