Expedition Everest FP in Dec

would anyone care to hazard a guess as to how long we will see the Fast Passes being completely out by 1030/11 am? When we were there in Aug we were talking with a family in line for Soarin who said EE fast passes were gone the day before by 11am. We switched our plans around to do AK in the am instead of pm and sure enough the FP situation was CRAZY! We got there at opening, spent 10 min in line to GET a fast pass and it was for 2 hours later, by 1030 the Fast Passes were gone for the day. We're going again in Dec and I'm having a hard time scheduling an am at AK. Do you think the FP situation will still be bad? Or that the standby line will still be 90+ minat virtually all times of the day? And while I'm on a roll with questions, how does the baby/child swap at EE work?

It depends when you're going in December. If you're going early in Dec. you should have no problem. If you'll be there Christmas week, chances are good they'll be completely out by then.

Youch. So glad I don't go at Christmas - when we go there are still FP's available at 5pm

Anyone can guess...but the fact is, no one knows.

Attendance and willingness of guests to ride EE varies from day to day and hour to hour.

Despite your experience, if you want to ride it without much of a wait, get there when the AK opens. That's the best advice anyone can give you.
