I am doing a split stay for our short trip for the EEC. We are staying at the grand floridian for sept 24-26 and then checking into AKL on the 26th. We did this to be closer to MK and Epcot for MNSSHP and going to the monorail parks the first couple of days.
I know that only the sponsored hotels provide transportation to and from the race and the packet pick up. I had originally planned to do packet pick up on the Saturday, day of the race, that we checked into AKL. Now, I realize, it would be better for us if we could do the packet pick up on that Friday afternoon before MNSSHP. My question is, would there be a problem with DH and me going by bus to AKL and then getting on the bus they provide to Wide World of Sports for the packet pick up. Would this be a problem since we aren't guests of the hotel yet? Or would it be okay since we are participating in the race?
