The DVC and AP spots are full. I couldn't get my password to work on the registration from so I called and there was a message that the spots are all full. I hope we get a spot on the 16th!
What time will registration open on the 16th?
You can double check as we get closer, but if it's true to form and the early registration it should be NOON EST.
ETA: Actually see where they've confirmed it's NOON EST.

I must be missing something on the rD web page, but can someone confirm that registration starts at 12pm (eastern) tomorrow (12/16)? I thought I saw a reference to noon being the starting time, but now I can't see to find that info.
2015 is definitely the last EE Challenge. runDisney has it posted on the EE Challenge section of runDisney.com.I hope to get in on this too since it might be the last - we just happen to be going during this time.
YES. I just got a reminder email: "THE FINAL EXPEDITION EVEREST CHALLENGE IS ON SALE TOMORROW AT NOON ET!"I must be missing something on the rD web page, but can someone confirm that registration starts at 12pm (eastern) tomorrow (12/16)? So does everyone think this will sell out faster this year since it's the last one? I know in the past it has taken longer... We just haven't had time to decide!!![]()
So does everyone think this will sell out faster this year since it's the last one? I know in the past it has taken longer...
Sell-out times from the past couple years for reference:
2013 EEC was on sale Dec 11, 2012 - Feb 9, 2013 (58 days)
2014 EEC was on sale Dec 17, 2013 - Jan 18, 2014 (31 days)
So sales had already been a bit quicker in line with the general uptick runDisney races have seen over the past couple years. That may have continued anyway for this year, and I think announcing it's the final run will only speed it along.
I have another question regarding the "team name". We are one family of 4, but since the kids are 9 and 11, we are "racing"as 2 "teams" of 2. Can we use the same "team name" for both or do they have to be different? I really don't want to name our team(s), but if I have to, I will. It's not printed on anything is it?
Thanks!
Another team registration question - if my friend and I each register ourselves, how do we register ourselves as a team? Or should just one of us register for both of us to make sure we are a team?
Also, are there any real "perks" to being registered as a team? My friend and I already planning to do this together, so I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to try to figure out the official team thing.
So to register as a team, does one person register both people, or can my friend and I each register ourselves and then link our registration later?
One person registers the team. If you are registering, you will add her name and info on your registration. I know this because I was tryiong to do early registration and our 2 teams did not agree on names and it closed that afternoon before we came up with one. Also, looking through past years results I did see repeat team names so to the PP that was asking, I believe you can have the same team names for 2 different teams, they will distinguish by the runners names.

Thanks for this info! Any idea if I need my fellow runners DOB & address? Any other info?
