Expedia "Summer Rates" For WDW Resorts!

Hello everyone!


Just noticed that Expedia has all WDW resorts at a special rate this summer!

Values at 69$
Moderates at 104$
Deluxes at 140$ (WL)

That's great for people like me that didn't receive any PIN code

I tried to book WL and it won't give me the discount. I saw the discount page, but it doesn't give you a link, it says that page has been moved.

Hi! I tried several dates from 20 August to 1 September and it worked! I don't know exactly what is the date range, but at least that worked!

I'd really like to find a better rate for our July trip. I did find Values for $109, but we already have a Moderate booked at the AP rate (just $30/night more). I was hoping for a better rate for one of the Deluxes that aren't offering an AP rate (all have rooms avail during our planned stay).

Does anyone know if you can still get the dining plan when booking a room through an outside source like Expedia??

You MUST book a MYW package in order to get the DDP. A package is room/tickets/dining. You cannot get it when booking through expedia, and you cannot get it period if you are booking a room only. Hope this helps!

Ive just booked the POFQ through expedia because i couldnt get what i wanted for the AP rates or the discounts that came out today either!

I had to pay the ressie up front in full which sucked!

Ive now got 2 ressies for the same trip, does anyone know how long it takes for a refund from Disney? Its a room only package for Sept and ive paid deposits on 3 rooms?

Thanks for the heads up heaven 2006! I yet again changed my ressie from CSR to now the Wilderness Lodge. I couldn't get WL to come up for my dates through the Disney site or through CRO, but it did through Expedia, so I did it through them.

You can get these same rates though WDW with the new summer codes that are out to the public today.

OK, so maybe the CM made a mistake? I know she said standard, but sometimes they make mistakes. Anyway, she was very friendly, and gave me some good tips I hadn't thought of before!

What are the dates for the discount. I do not even see this when I go to expedia. Also, when are the summer discount dates?

I think the dates are most nights July 29 - Aug 2, Aug 5 - 9, Aug 12 - 29 and Sept 2 - 29, 2007

It seems that Expedia has more rooms available for this promotion than the WDW itself! That's great

To see the rates you don't need to go through a special link... just put your dates (between the date range I mentioned) and then search for WDW resorts

On Expedia, I just booked one night at ASM. Saturday, Aug 4, this date was not available thru Disney.

I had originally planned to get an inexpensive room outside of the parks for that one night. Now, the kids get to stay one night at ASM. I think they will love it.

I agree, Disney was only giving me either Key West or Saratoga for a deluxe for my dates, Expedia gave me WL, which I'm excited to try. I wish I hadn't had to pay for the whole thing up front though. It kind of makes you feel trapped.
