Expedia reservations

We had to cancel our CRO reservation at Grand Floridian and switch to an Expedia reservation as the savings were over $150/night and no AP/code rates were available for our dates. With the Expedia reservation is there any way to make a room request via fax/phone as I normally would with CRO reservations? We are travelling with another family and we had wanted the rooms to be near each other if possible. Thanks!

i am not sure if this will help but i made my reservation for our first night at the lbv best western through orbitz. I had a request for a smoking room and a late check in . I was told by the orbitz ppeople that i should call the hotel direct in 24 hours to give them my requests as my conf # would be different for the actual hotel and just to confirm that they had me in their computer. i did just that and everything was fine. so i would call the gf direct and tell them your requests they will note it on your reservation.
