Expedia night before Disney package

Our family is doing a reunion on November 19th that we booked through Disney at the Poly. We have a 6 day ticket package. I used Expedia points to book a night at the AKL on the 18th while we wait for the rest of the group to show up for the 19th.

My question is if I buy a 7th day, can I use that day on the 18th when I arrive or do my park tickets not become active until the day our actual package begins.

You can use your park tickets associated with a package up to 10 days early. You will need to hit a Guest Services location to do this. There is one outside every park and one at Disney Springs.
