Hi Everybody! So our youngest, and what we thought was our last, baby girl is 10 months old, and I just took a test yesterday, and guess what? :tink: :bounce: So I'm due in January, as far as we know, and you all are the very first to know - :) . Does anyone have any suggestions for girls names? We have had a boys name all picked out from the first time we were expecting, but after two girls we're running low on girls names. We just can't fully agree on any of the ones we've looked up. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!

Congratulations!!!:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

We have that 100,000 Baby Names book around here somewhere - we had twins, and had a difficult time coming up with 2 names at once...

...oh my...what if you had to come up with 2 more sets of names...??

Heehee!;);)

Have a wonderful day - we're thrilled to be the first to know!:)

:sunny:

Congrats!!!

You know.... my sil had 2 girls and then her 3rd ended up being 3 AND 4 :lmao: You sure it's only 1 in there?? :lmao:

Abigail - I ended up with my 2 boys and it was hard coming up with a 2nd boy name but I always loved the name Abigail with Abby for short - or Beth but not Elizabeth.

Here's hoping it's a healthy pregnancy for you!!

That's so funny! (Not the twins thing, btw, I was having enough of a panic attack when I looked at that big ol' positive sign on the pregnancy test!) I love the name Abigail, but my husband isn't so big on it. On the other hand he likes Naomi, but I don't really like it. I was looking up the name Arianna today though, and I think that sounds really pretty.

Congrats!

If I had another girl, I would name her EDEN. I have an EMILY and an EVAN, so EDEN would fit beautifully. I like the meaning of EDEN too. The Garden of Eden!

Take it if you like it. Blessings, Sandra

I am kind of partial to Allison because that is my DD7 but other choices were:

Hillary, Erika, Hannah, Elise, Allysa & Amanda

Congrats!!! :cheer2: I feel so special to be told first...

I can't help with girl's names - we have 2 boys and went into labour both times still not in agreement over a girls name. Guess it wasn't meant to be...
Although my eldest is Ciaran and the female version is Ciara (pronounced Keerah) Add it to your list if you like it!

"Congratulations" What exciting news!!

We have two boys and when our second son was born he was going to be Rachel after my Mom. I always loved her name.

I have 2 boys and a girl. The last one was supposed to be a Sophia but turned out to be a Bradley! Congrats!

Congratulations!!

My "dd" turned out to be a ds, who we named Chad :cool1: .

My girls names were Summer (probably wouldn't work for a winter baby), Layne, and Camryn. My dd 10 is named Mackenzie, which I still love. :wizard:

Good luck with the pregnancy!!:)

We couldn't agree on girls or boys names for this one we just had in May so I left it up to my wife and the baby's name ended up being Mackenzie that is our 4th and last child and here we thought we were all done LOL.

I have 4 girls and 2 boys and of course I absolutely love all of their names use one if you like: Lauren, Delaney, Karrigan and Channing! Have an awesome pregnancy!!

Wow! Thank you so much guys! I really like alot of those names! I guess it just gets overwhelming when you're looking at a book with 10, 000 names, a bunch of different spellings. Keep them coming, I'm starting a list!!

P.S. Just for reference, I forgot to tell you, our oldest is Hannah Olivia, and our second is Katharina (Katie) Margaret. :)

Congrats! I think the name Arianna is extremely beautiful because that's what our 6 yr old's name is!!:rotfl2: Almost every time she says her name when asked she is told "what a beautiful name". There aren't many out there but I've heard it more since I named her. Good luck , and maybe you'll get that boy.

Congrats ... I'm jealous because I am having "baby urge", but dh is adament that will NOT happen!!! I do know he is technically 'right' because we went through a lot of fertility to have the two beautiful girls that we do have. I can't imagine going through it all over again!!

Anyways ... I am partial to my girls' names (which I guess I better be!! ;) ). I have a Julia Beatrice (middle after my mom) and I have an Olivia Pearl (middle after my mom's mom). I have always loved the name Julia, but was so sure I was having a boy we were all set with a boy's name when she came along  (it would have been Owen David)

I also really like Hannah (which you obviously can't use! ... our Olivia was almost a Hannah, but had a dream about an Olivia the night before she arrived, so that was it).

Other girls names I like ... Ella (another choice for Olivia, and I REALLY like this one), Sophia, Mia, Allie, Grace, McKenna, Ruby (my new niece!!), Sarah.

I like Arianna, but I taught a VERY saucy, know-it-all little girl by that name, so it would always remind me of her. Names will do that you ... b/w dh (a police officer) and me (a teacher), we had many names that were "no-no's"!!!

Anyways ... I'm blabbing on here ... good luck and have fun picking a name ...

Kerri

Ironically enough, our HANNAH was almost an Olivia. We almost changed it before we left the hospital. I love Ella too, but so many Cinderella story movies have used it, that I think I would have trouble convincing dh that I wasn't really naming her CINDER-Ella! (He knows I'm a little obsessed with the story!)

Well I like these names for a girl.. they are on my list:
Charlotte
Kelsey
Marla
Virginia ( Ginny for short)
