I will have pics soon...I'm uploading a ton of them right now.

My hubby Kenny and I went to bed early the nite before. I put out all the clothes we would wear and my mom was going to take us to the airport. We hardly got any sleep that nite since we kept checking the clock.

Finally, I threw in the towel at 1:45 a.m. (our flight was due at 6). Have to get up early to get Ken around.

Let's skip through the boring stuff here. We get up, get ready, head to airport yada, yada, yada.

Our flight was serene and nice. I snoozed the whole way. It touched down at 11:15 in Orlando!!!! Now, I've been on solo trips several times and know my way around. You would think my hubby would listen to my suggestions on where Magical Express terminal is....but maybe not. After wandering around the airport because "he knew a better way" we end up at the terminal where we supposed to be.

Anyhoo, we now head to Caribbean Beach Resort! We are the first stop!!!! Our room is ready and we are in Barbados, which turned out to be great due to the internal bus....I looove that bus! Our room was near our own beach and just steps away from a pool!

We planned to go to EPCOT first thing, but we decided to explore the resort and downtown disney first....and take a nap.

That night was Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! I wore a Snow White costume. Kenny went as himself. It was soooo much fun! We rode rides, got a little candy, and saw the Boo to You Parade (I highly recommed it!)

Afterwards, we went back to our room and crashed. It had been a long day.

Up next....the worst experience of my life.

The worst experience of my life...day 2.

We get up to a beautiful morning. It's 80 degrees out, the sun is shining, it's a great day. We had breakfast at the hotel and then, hopped on the bus to EPCOT to cover the food and wine festival.

On the way there, we rode Test Track (Kenny loved it) and Soarin'. When it came time for the festival to open, we wandered through the streets of World Showcase, checking out all there was to offer. :cool2:

Now you're probably asking yourself....how could this be the worst expereince of her life? Just wait....

So it's getting time for our ressie at Le Cellier....my fave restaurant. I was so excited to get it for Kenny! We were seated promptly and we both ordered the filet mignon.

Now, I have IBS. (Irritable Bowel Syndrome.) It can sometimes make things get stuck in my esophogus. Guess what happened? Yup, you guessed it. (Gross alert) I got a piece of steak caught in my esophogus and threw up all over my plate in the restaurant.

I hid in the bathroom, waiting to get the rest of it up. No go. Not even when Kenny tried the heimlich. So...when we were on the bus to CBR to lie down in the room, I finally got it all up. In front of a whole bus of people. :sad2:

For the rest of the day, I stayed in the room and cried. I felt so embarrased and hated what happened. Hubby tried everything to make me feel better. He was so great about it.

That night, even though I felt like crap, we went to Cali Grill for our anniversary as planned. I ate very lightly and he had a steak. We watched the fireworks form the window. We then went back to our room to rest. I'd had enough excitement for one day.

Coming up....the best laid plans sometimes are put aside to chillax!

Oh you poor, poor thing!! How awful to have your favorite meal ruined with that!! I sure hope the rest your trip goes a whole lot of better that this!!!!

I am SO sorry that happened to you - you shouldn't have felt embarrassed! I hope the rest of the trip turns out better for you!

I tell you, the staff at Le Cellier couldn't have been nicer. They kept coming into the bathroom to check on me. Kenny said the whole restaurant was concerned. Not the kind of attention I was looking for. :lmao:

Ok. Day 3. "Sometimes the best plans are set aside to chillax."

My hubby and I had every intention of going to see Universal that day and espiecially WWOHP. We loooove everything Harry Potter, espiecially me....big Snape fan. :rolleyes1

However, due to my stomach acting up the day before, Kenny thought it would be best if we tabled that and chillaxed for a while. Plus, he'd been working overtime and needed to relax.

So, I decided after a while, to go have breaky at the food court at CBR and go exploring. (The pics of this are being developed) I checked out the pool, the private beach, and then, went to see the Epcot resorts. I visited Swan and Dolphin, where we are considering having our vow renewal in a few years. I also visited Boardwalk. I loooove Boardwalk. One of these days, I want to stay there sooo bad! I meant to see Yacht and Beach Club, but I needed to get back to the room before hubby would start looking for me. It was noonish already. LOL.

When I get back, Ken is ready and we leave for lunch. We decide to go to Downtown Disney. By now, I'm reeeaaaalllyy hungry and have to eat somewhere. We looked for Wolfgang Puck Express, but I went the wrong way. (When my sugar is low, I get forgetful and confused) We came upon Cookes of Dublin. We both ordered the Original One & One Fish & Chips.......

OMG. Soooo good! Can I say it or would it be considered blasphemy? I think it was better than Raglan Road's fish and chips!!! :cloud9: It came with a chocolate chip cookie for each of us. (Pics are being developed)

Afterward, we walked around Downtown Disney for a while, we headed back to our room to relax before dinner.

Coming up next....Raglan Road and ghost hunting!

Continuing on....

Raglan Road and Ghost Hunting

So after we rest a while, it's getting close to dinnertime and I'm hungry. I change into a cute denim dress and don the pirate Mickey hat we bought the first day. It was hawt out and I wanted to be sexay for hubby. We get ready and head out on the bus to downtown disney to Raglan Road for dinner. (Our ressie is at 8 p.m.)

We got there a bit early. Now if you've ever eaten there, there is a statue of an Irishman I think outside of the restaurant. You're supposed to sit on his lap and get your picture taken.

So:

Hubs on the statue

Me on the statue, minus the hat. He thought it would be dorky.

We were seated and he got no surprise, a burger.

I had the fish and chips:

I decided to be good and not get dessert, although considering how the rest of the evening went, I wish I had.

We left Raglan Road and were walking toward the movie theatre. Bear in mind, I am wearing flip flops, a dress, and no hose. Welll.............you know how you tell your kids to watch their step?

I fell right in the middle of Pleasure Island and my skirt flies up bearing my Hello Kitty underwear!!!!! And no, I was NOT drunk. I actually hadn't even had anything to drink that nite. People crowded around wanting to know if I needed help. OMG.....I wanted to die. I think this was more embarrasing than throwing up on the table at Le Cellier! It's funny now...

Kenny and I finally make it to the movie theatre and he wants to see Paranormal Activity 2. I go along with it cause it's anniversary too. He even said he'd get me popcorn and a treat. Oh well.

It reminded me of the Blair Witch Project. It wasn't really scary, looked amateurish honestly. Kenny commented that he and I could go around with our digital camera and make better footage than that!

Afterwards, it was late and we head back to our room to crash.

Up next, a breakfast with a lot of "character", a "wild time", and we really should have done the Deluxe Dining Plan!

I haven't forgotten about you guys....

I have an inner ear infection and I'm getting more pics to finish my reports. Will be back soon!

Gabbie

OK. I'm back! Sorry about the break. My computer nearly went to computer heaven last weekend and I had to get it fixed!

I will see if I can get the pics to show in the last segment. If not, I'll do it over.

A breakfast with a lot of "character", a "wild time", and we really should have done the Deluxe Dining Plan!

This one will have lots of pics!!!!!

I had a wake-up call for 6 a.m. to wake us up for our breakfast at my very fave breaky, Crystal Palace! Six a.m. comes and the phone rang. It's Stitch screaming, "No Sleeping!" in my ear. That's it. No Mickey afterward. Dang. I look forward to hearing from Mickey on my wake-up calls. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

So we get up and get ready. I wear my fave Mickey and Minnie t-shirt (It is close to 90 degrees out) and my pink faux leopard Minnie ears. The plan was to go to Crystal Palace for breakfast, then Animal Kingdom, then Jiko for dinner and onto Illuminations that nite at Epcot. It didn't quite turn out that way....

We get to our bus stop outside of our room at Barbados and the Magic Kingdom bus is just pulling up!!!!! Yay! We hop on and head to MK for breaky. Kenny is worried that we won't be able to get in since the park doesn't open till 9. I keep telling him that those of us who have breaky ressies get in early. Oh ye of little faith....

We get to the gate and just as I said, we got in early due to our breakfast. We then headed straight to Crystal Palace and checked in. We had to wait for our table and sat together on the verandah contemplating our day.

When we get in, we meet up with my fave chef....Chef Kenneth! He's the chef at Crystal Palace. He remembered me from June and showed me what I could and could not have (onion allergy).

Now the pics of the food are yet to be developed (we are fighting the creeping crud right now). I got: Mickey Waffles, bacon, eggs, and a Mickey Mouse chocolate chip pancake. Oh.......and I got to meet some of my fave guys:

Here's me with Eeyore

and me with Pooh.

So, then we get the bill and Kenny decides to use his Key to the World card to pay for breaky. When it comes back, we realize something.....

we will soon be out of table service credits!!! Apparently, I didn't take into account that I had changed us from the Deluxe plan to the basic plan. I usually am used to paying for one; me. Whoops! We decided we were going to have to drop some table service meals so we could save $$.

We head to Animal Kingdom and head straight for Camp Minnie Mickey. I am a Character hound and love getting pics and autographs!!! My poor hubby had to stand in 3 lines because we "had" to see Minnie, Mickey, and Donald!!!

So then, we hop on Kiliminjaro Safari and we got lots of shots of wildlife:

Afterwards, we go to explore Asia, which is of particular interest to us since hubby is half-Japanese. We're wandering around and he wants to go on Expedition Everest....I'm chicken. Plus, my sugar is falling...fast. I needed a pick me up and I found it in a frozen Mickey bar which lead to this pic:

This ones Kenny's fave pic of me. Don't ask me why. He says I have such a determined look on my face to eat the Mickey Bar and it was sooo adorable. LOL.

We then leave Animal Kingdom for our resort. I had to cancel the rest of our table service meals, with the exception of Via Napoli. And I'm glad I left it!!!!!

Up next.....an Illuminating night at EPCOT, a Chocolate binge, and the best cocktail I ever had.
