Exotic Rasul: expensive conjugal visit?

Wife and I love the Exotic Rasul, too funny. Guess we were naive to think we were being dangerous.

Actually, my son was 13 when we went. I was VERY blessed that he is a strong sleeper :lmao:

I'll say!! :thumbsup2
Our problem is that my DH wants to go to sleep long before our son came in for the night. Too risky. :sad2:

my hubby and I were very disappointed to learn that there's not a naughty mud room on the Dream - we book the Rasul every time we're on the Magic. :rolleyes1

Every time I read the title of this thread I think..."are they in prison?"

Seriously...Disney is practically inviting you to spawn new customers! Bring on all the booze you want...they will watch your kids all day...provide "exotic" steam rooms and lotions !
lol...

That's what the term "conjugal visit" brings up in my mind too! ::yes:: I've never heard that term used in any other manner other than speaking about prison visits! But if prison is like a Disney cruise, then lock me up! :cool1: Or, as Tito put it in Oliver and Company, "Hey, man, if this is torture, chain me to the wall." Hmmmmmmmmmm... ideas anyone?!?! :lmao: :rotfl2:  :rotfl: :joker:

Does the Dream have the aft "balcony access" on decks 7/8?

Just sayin'.....:thumbsup2

Nope...it's all staterooms back there now.
And I've had rooms adjacent to those "secret" aft balconies before.....so NOT private!! :cutie::cutie:

WE have done the Rasul twice on the magic first in Feb 2010, then Nov 2010(after drydock) big difference!!!
The steam room no longer has steam (unless u make it)since drydock..... its just a warm room with showers.... we didn't know this till after the rasul :confused3when we we asked concerned it was broken the staff informed us no more steam room  they took it out at drydock... so its not as nice as it used to be.
but its still a nice time with your husband and all the lotions scrubs etc there is a bench in there with TONS of towels so u can cover bench to sit on no you can't really lay on bench but most people are creative sitting or stnding etc...... sorry if TMI.....
yea u can use ur state room but that what the other 6 days of cruise for!!!

Bump. Can anyone confirm from the past year or so that the steam room is no longer a steam room on the Magic? Thanks

Missed this thread the first time, but I'll add. I'm glad we have 3 kids so we always get 2 rooms. Pretty sure I wouldn't be able to cruise for 7 nights otherwise

We did the rasul on the Magic last March...I'll say, yuck.

First of all, the steam in the room (or whatever you want to call it) was HOT...and I mean like burning me hot. The walls and floor in there were also too hot to touch, or sit, or anything. There are some hoses in there that when turned on drip out some cold water, but there is no happy medium. And also no way to get that water to the benches or walls to cool them down.

Then, the main room was where all of the "products" were. We had scrub and mud and cleanser and lotion. It was kind of explained to us what to do with them...and I'd worked at a shop that sold those things before, so I knew what to do with them, but someone who had not a clue would still not have a clue, even after the explanation.

The shower in the main room was also kind of dumb. It was a really high shower with a push button and no temperature control. Trying to rinse off the products was crazy.

We were locked in this room for over an hour (they gave us "bonus" time). Toward the end, DH & I were literally looking at each other like, "is it over yet???"

I felt that we paid to be uncomfortable for an hour (or however long it was). It was NOT the amazing, wonderful experience that had been described on the DIS, which is too bad.

My wife and I loved every moment of the hour together. Feel you have to enjoy life together and embrace any spontaneous moment you can share with one another : )

Plus, on a PG level, we still laugh when we think back to the epic mud fight we had when we forst got into the room. She was covered in so much green mud she looked like the Statue of Liberty!

We were on the Magic in June and the steam definitely worked! We did this on the Wonder in 08 and loved the experience, but this time it was just too hot. Like being in a sauna for an hour!

Slightly off topic. I have always wanted to book the couple alone time, it is pretty pricey but seems amazing. Anyone book this before? Is it worth it?

Someone know the prices? I remember something about $80, but is that for the couple or each?

TIA.
