Considering buying the exotic driving experience for DH. My concern is that he's about 6'3" and I'm worried he won't fit comfortably in the cars that are currently offered. I know the Ferrari and Lambos would both be a tight fit, and I'm guessing the Audi R8 might also be a bit tight, which basically leaves the Porsche 997, which is probably the car he'd be least interested in driving.

Any tips or insights (especially from tall folks who have done the driving experience) would be great. Thanks!

My hubby is 6'1 and was able to drive the Ferrari. It was a tight fit. The seat was all the way back and his helmet touched to ceiling. I know they advise against the Lambos for anyone over 6ft.

If he likes cars unless he is a Porsche fan skip the Porsche. Audi R8 is basically a Lambo with different body, and interior. He should fit in it( maybe a little tight), but it is an amazing car to drive. He should also fit fine in the Ferrari. All of the cars are a tight fit, but it's only a few laps.

Admittedly, I'm not entirely sure what the "exotic" driving experience is vs. the regular driving experience... BUT my DH did the regular (5 laps, I think?) experience a few years back (loved it) and he is 6'4" almost 6'5"...and he fit OK.

Enjoy your trip!

I have driven all of the cars in different (nondisney) settings. Ditto others on the R8. The Porsche has a lot of room as well and is just as good dynamically as the R8, especially if it is a 991. I looked at the website and it seemed awfully expensive. If you are near one of the other outfits you might want to take a day and drive the cars away from Disney as you will likely get more for your money.

My brother drove the Lamborghini and I wouldn't suggest anybody over 6foot to try this car whereas you may get away with Ferrari and NASCAR car.

You might consider the Nissan GT-R too, if it's available when you're going. My DH drove the Ferrari and the GT-R and my brother drove the GT-R and paid for extra laps when we were there in December. Both of them absolutely loved the GT-R. They're both car guys to the n-th degree and couldn't say enough good things about the GT-R, even over the Ferrari. My DH has driven the Lambo Superleggera as well and has said the GT-R is what he'll be driving next time too. It's one of the cheaper cars to drive, probably because of the relatively low purchase price, but it's got some serious pop! And no worries about the size of the driver on that one. My brother is almost 6'5" and had no problem.

DH did 10 laps in a Lambo in November 2013. He is 6 feet and it was a tight fit. Drivers have to wear helmets which adds several inches.

He had the seat reclined in order to fit in but loved it. He is already planning on what car he takes out next.
