What should I do? We are planning a December 2006 trip to the World -- staying 6 nights at CSR (made up mind thanks to these boards -- and thanks to all who reviewed this resort) -- if we plan to do the MYW w/dining and 6 day park hoppers, which is the better deal -- (1) reservations through Disney --the Disney site shows a total price of $2648 -- does this include tax? --I thought I saw on here that it did not - but when I went through the online reservation until the last step, it appeared that it did include tax or (2) purchasing an AAA membership ($60) and booking separately -- if I understand this correctly, I can apply the AAA rate to the package and it will just discount the room ? I am confused because when I got on the AAA site it seemed to me that the price quoted for the 6 day hopper is alot more than the price shown on the Disney site as part of the MYW package.
Anyhoo- I think the dining will be a good deal for us as we will be able to share alot of the meals (DD will be 4 -3 years 13 months, and DS will be 10, 9 years 16 months when we go) -- I figure DD and I will share meals as that is what we usually do anyway, and can DS use her child menu credit, even though I will pay for him as an adult-- that way I can use his adult credit for me and DD. Is this possible? If so -- the dining plan will really benefit us as we can stretch it out to include almost all 3 meals for all 6 days with exception of DH.

Sorry for all the questions.

PS: My DH says I am afflicted -- too much Disney planning he says -- I dreamt the other night that I received a pincode for CR for $69 a night -- I know that was dreaming.

I am a little confused by what you asked but here goes with what I know... If you get AAA you can book room only for discount through the Disney direct booking. If you want a package you have to book through AAA- to get the Dining and the passes and the aaa room rate.(I think you can get dining through them now) Disney site prices are pre- tax. Call AAA and get a price quote for a package to see if it is worth it. Dreams Unlimited did all my leg work for me last year and got my rates discounts ect... all just with an email from me. It was super easy. So you can also request a rate quote from them- there rates include taxes. Now I don't know about your idea for the meal plan. I know some places will let your ds order off the children's menu (thus using the child credit) BUT if you do any character meals they are very strict about the credits- Your DS will be charged the adult credit. Does that make sense? I hope I didn't confuse you more.
