Exercise What is better??

I have about 10 pounds to lose and really need to tone my butt and legs. What would be better for me running or fast walking uphill (on tread). I also ride my bike whenever the weather is right and dh is home so I can leave the kids. Should I do uphill walking w/ small running sprints to get my heart rate up? Please help. Thank you.
 
I think that it depends on your current physical condition. If you want to tone muscle, then prolonged exercise that challenges the muscles slightly is what you need (walking uphill). But if you're looking for a cardio workout, then short sprints (either on a flat surface or uphill) will be more beneficial.
 
Both! It's best to get a variety of workouts to challenge you. I would alternate between the two.
