Exercise Really Makes A Difference...

and do you know how I know this? Because I am NOT doing any! :(

I am actually 1/2 pound above my pre-pregnancy weight but my clothes are not fitting as well as they did before. Granted some of it may just be because I had a baby but I think a large part of it is that when I lost this weight before I was also exercising 4-5 times a week. I was really in shape and now I only exercise occassionally and I can really feel the difference. I weigh the same but I am actually bigger now than I was then. :(

I really, really, really need to get recommitted to working out on a regular basis. I think for now I am just going to set a goal of 3x per week and then go from there (3x is better than nothing). I did the 1 mile WATP tape last night and it was easier than the last time I did it so hopefully I will be able to move onto the 2 mile soon.

Don't let me slack on this!!! I need someone to do a little butt-kicking if I try to back out of exercising!!!!

Hey, Becka, don't be so hard on yourself!! YOU HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB and you are sporting a beautiful clippie and I know that there is a new one right around the corner for you!!!!

I'm glad you are getting back on the exercise train! Make sure you check in on the thread that Bliss4Us (Daisy) posts - it's a great inspiration and helps keep me accountable! You can do it! Staring with 3 times a week is EXCELLENT! You are right, that is much better than nothing and it's also a great way to ease into exercising again!!! :) You can always establish that 3 times a week routine for a while and then after a month or so bump it up to another day a week! YOU CAN TOTALLY DO IT!!!!!

I think 3 x a week is an awesome start! Half of the battle is making the decision to do something. I plan on by the FIRM tonight (special value of the day tomorrow on QVC) and starting. I have sat on the fence for so long saying I am going to start SOON! This will be a step in the right direction.

You are doing so great with your weight loss. I bet it is great to have gotten rid of the pregnacy weight. Keep up the great work!

I think it is great that you have started exercising and I think it was smart to start with just 3xs a week. You are setting yourself up to be successful with this plan.

I love to find excuses for not exercising but you are right - it does make a difference. I have been working really hard at trying new activities, different times of the day to exercise and anything else that will inspire me to not be so lazy with the exercising. If I can do it ANYONE can!
