Exercise 2/22/2008

I had surgery on the 13th. Today I did house-walking for 10 minutes! Then I did some calf raises, sat on a chair and did some leg raises, arm work different movements. All no weights kind of stuff. Doc said it was ok to walk and I have been doing what I can. I managed 25 minutes of "stuff" today!

hey great job Lily --- glad to hear you are recovery quickly!!

tonight i'm going to participate in a team challenge at the Y, i'm on a biggest loser team there. i'm in an obstacle course of some kind (lunges, dips, crunches, etc) and in the meanwhile between 4 of us we have to have somoene pedaling on our designated spinning cycle for the 90 mins duration, so i hope to get enough in to qualify as my workout tonight!!

dh and I just did a 2 mile WATP, its the fast miles with boosted walking, there are intervals, 3 of them where we run for 90 sec! My goal is to run the 1/2 marathon in 2010 but for 2008 my goal is to lose the weight and get in shape!!! So any running will help

I did 45 minutes on the ellipical yesterday and I'm off to do more today....
