Executive lounge

I'm booking the No 1 lounge. The Servisair one looks just as good but I don't like the idea of not having any flight monitors in there, especially now that I've had to rebook my canceled flights a third time for the same trip ..... I'm not trusting anyone :rotfl:

There is only about £2.50 difference per adult. Also if you are flying before October next year and you book directly through No1 Traveller you get access to the Fast Track Security (think they call it Premium Lane?). I don't recall, but I have used it before at LGW and you sail through there in a couple of minutes so it's a nice little extra :goodvibes

Hi

That's silly not having flight monitors in there :confused3

You have had two cancelled flights??:(

The fast track sounds good.

Are there any executive lounges at MCO that are any good? Not good with crowds

Yes, the first ones I canceled and rebooked; second batch .... you wouldn't believe me if I told you what happened (silly blooming airline!) :crazy2: so I'm now on round 3 :rotfl: I'm surprised the bank hasn't flagged up a query on my credit card with this lot

Yes I've done quite a lot of reading on the two lounges and was going to come back on here and post anyway because to be honest, if it weren't for my uneasiness on the back of all the flight chaos leading to the monitors being an issue for me, I would probably have booked the Aspire Lounge by choice. When you read over the actual amenities, unless you are looking for one of the extras you can only get at the No 1 lounge, they are pretty much the same, but the reviews are much better for Aspire. Now whether that is linked to price affecting expectation, I have no idea. Reviews are tricky because they are so subjective so I've been trying to get a general idea.

When are you flying? I may hold off for a while and see if any special offers come out on Groupon or similar because there was one recently but at the time I didn't think I'd be needing one :rolleyes2

MCO is going to be a bit more of a challenge for you because as far as I know, they only have airline lounges, not ones open for general bookings, but I may stand to be corrected on that. I last looked a couple of years ago so my information might be out of date

We've used the No1. lounge at Gatwick and Heathrow on numerous occasions. Whilst they are not as good as the Virgin Holiday lounge or the VA Clubhouse IMHO they are still very nice and comfy. The food is reasonable and during peak holiday times it is very nice to get away from the chaos of the departure lounge.
