Execu Car from Supershuttle, anyone have any experience?

We are coming into LAX in July (4 in our party, 2 adults, one teen and one child) and I really didn't want to use a "shared van or shuttle" but Supershuttle has an option of "Execucar for 4 passengers @$71 ea. r/t (total of $114). I found this to sound very reasonable considering what others are charging from LAX but, since the last time I went to DL (back 2005) we used a shared van, I'm differing to you DISers to give me some good advice. I'm looking for something reasonable but safe. We do have a 5yo with us but we do have a traveling booster seat with us. TIA

Hmm...I have never used Execucar. We normally travel Supershuttle (which is always clean and efficient...and safe given the other drivers on the road). My guess is that their car service would be similar. I will be interested in hearing about them as well.

Can't speak to Execucar from LAX, but we used the service from SNA in February.
We opted for the "meet and greet" where the driver comes into the terminal to meet you at the luggage terminal (since we had no clue where we were going and we both have mobility issues). When we got off the plane and turned on my phone, I had a text with the driver's name and phone number.
We actually missed our driver at first since, as I mentioned, DH was in a chair - so we took the elevator. Turns out he was waiting for us at the base of the escalator. For most folks, this would have been the ideal location. One quick call and he was there in a matter of moments.
He had a very nice Lincoln MKZ. Nice and clean. The driver was very nice and the trip was quick, smooth and stress free.

On our return trip, we had a lovely lady for our driver who was waiting for us at our hotel in a Town Car. Again, the trip was super easy, and as we drove through the traffic, was very happy to be riding and not driving.

In general, I gather that the drivers use their own cars, but both cars were immaculate. Both drivers were wonderful.

In a nutshell,I not only would recommend the service, but when we visit again in September -we are going to book the service again.

We used it back in 2012, which was the last time we were in the US, from LAX to DL. It was great. It did take a little while to find the car because we had to switch SIM cards in the phone before we could ring. But the car was clean, we felt safe and the driver was pleasant. After 14 hours flying time it was nice to not have to share a vehicle. I'm considering using them again for our trip in November.
