Execs. switch places

I just read this too. Seems weird to me. The COF switching with the head of Disney Parks? I'm no fan of Jay Rasulo, I blame him specifically for ruining shopping for me at WDW (every store has the same thing and that stupid Disney Parks logo instead of a Walt Disney World logo) but I can't see a former COF is going to be an improvment over ole' Jay. What was the new guy's first decision? Nixing the Epcot Christmas lights? Wouldn't surprise me.

Rasulo has an accounting background, so that should be a good move for him. They need someone with extensive park background for the parks position though.

The word on the street is that one of the two will replace Iger in the future.

This is something that Disney and other corporations do to develop executives as well as help shake up the organisation.
Will be interested to see how this develops :)

I know Staggs is only 47 years old, but Rasulo doesn't look much older either. So, I don't think it's a matter of looking to a younger guy who can run the company longer. I think the speculation of them just "rounding out" the management is correct.

I wouldn't really expect any major changes or shifts with Rasulo literally standing right behind Mr. Staggs.
