Excuse me, you'll need to see security. What has Mickeystoontown done? Update 3/25x2

Hey Lisa! I just read this whole thing from start to your latest update and am loving it! :thumbsup2

Sounds like Hunter's 15th birthday was off to a wonderful start!

What part of Louisiana are yall from? My mama grew up in Mandeville!

Lisa i always seem to catch your trs randomly and you are such a fun writer! I like your straw hat. When i read that you ate inskde the ice cave at trex i shuddered through the flashback. The food looks great but the noise and lighting left me feeling like a t rex!

I'll be back!

Well great. If we go on a cruise and end up with that size porthole, you can just GUARANTEE that my girls will want to sleep right there in it! :rolleyes2 Cause, Momma being afraid of them falling out the window isn't that big a deal! :rotfl:

Love the room. And I think you were wise in the room choice! Looks nice! Hate the smell for you!

The porthole was big enough that both of your girls could take a nap there!

I'm happy that I decided to upgrade our room. I'm thinking that the inside stateroom would have been a bit small for us.

Welcome aboard! Thanks so much for the compliment on my writing style.

The noise in T-Rex can get loud but I'll deal with it 'cause the food is always good.

Welcome! Glad you're here!

Hunter's birthday was off to a great start, that's for sure!

We are from West Monroe. Isn't it a small world?

Very cool piece of information! I love finding this kind of stuff out :cool1:

Love the birthday surprise!! We actually had those exact decorations (along with the Minnie ones) for DD 1st bday in May :thumbsup2
Love your room pics and the port hole, I really wanna Disney cruise! :goodvibes

I like reading that kind of info too.

The decorations definitely did there job even if they were geared more towards little kids.

I used to do the same thing as Hunter when I went on the Wonder 12 years ago! I loved sitting in that window. However I did not sit like an upside down fish like him lol.

The room decorations are so fun! Hunter must have loved it! You were able to keep that secret! Your photos of the room are amazing. I still cannot believe how big the rooms are on the Disney cruise ships. I was in nothing bigger than a walk in closet on my cruise last month!

I can't tell you how many times I sat in that porthole just looking out at the ocean. It was beautiful!

The room was nice size. I originally booked an inside stateroom and I'm glad that I decided to upgrade us.

I'm all caught up now:cool1:

I love the birthday decorations. Happy belated birthday to Hunter!

The room looks really nice. I love the porthole! I thought they were all small.

I know next to nothing about cruising but my DH is interested in it. I had no idea about the bathroom smells:crazy2: I hope that goes away!

Can't wait for the next installment.

Yay for being caught up! I'll pass along the belated birthday wishes to Hunter.

I had read about the smell in the bathrooms but had forgotten about it until we arrived.

I love all of the Disney touches in the room. I just might have to check into a cruise. :scratchin

The room wasn't overwhelmingly Disney but there were definitely Disney touches.

Just checking in to see if I missed an update, but it looks like I'm good!

I used your handy dandy chapter links and now I'm all caught up again!

Loving your report so far! We also love Wofgang Puck Express..glad you enjoyed it! Love all the CBR pics and travel pics.

Can't wait to hear more! :goodvibes

Love the pictures of your cabin! That giant sized port-hole is great! :) My kids would have been doing the same thing as Hunter!

Hi Lisa. Sorry I'm late to the party. Great updates so far.

We absolutely love WPE. They used to have the most amazing BBQ chicken quesadillas they don't have them anymore but we still love everything we have tried here.

Can't wait to hear all your reviews about the cruise. We also took our first Disney cruise this summer. We did the 7 day on the Fantasy and absolutely loved it.

Love the birthday celebration decorations! And how nice to have cake to snack on!

:crazy2: on that smell. Can't say we had that problem, I hope it gets (got) better!

Wow! I didn't know the portholes were so big! We had a verandah room, but other than that fact, ours looked just like yours. I think sitting in the porthole would be fun - I just don't think it would be comfortable at all to lay in the porthole on your stomach!

And the view out your porthole brings back great memories of our constant companion, the Carnival Sensation! :)

We also noticed how much upkeep (cleaning, etc.) was being done while we were on the ship. Makes you feel good to see that, too!

I just knew I would be way behind but I am not!! :goodvibes I love the birthday decorations! Even if they were younger that is what birthdays are all about....celebrating! That porthole was huge!! I also found it very cool that you could lay in it!

I am not even touching the stinky bathroom story.... EW!!!!!!!:crazy2:

I was so worried I was about 5 updates behind...YES! I didn't miss anything!!!! :cool1:

Well, I got a little behind!! 10 days with my grandkids here will do that! Anyway, just had to tell you that it isn't just in the south that the "Redneck Birthday Song" is sung. I grew up in church in the Midwest and I remember singing it when I was a kid (won't say how long ago that was tho!:)) Love hearing your impressions of the ship so far. Cruising is something that has just never interested me much:confused3. I think I'd have a hard time relaxing knowing how much water was all around me.:scared:BUT I do love reading about other people's experiences. Too bad the food hasn't lived up to the hype so far. That's always been the one thing that I thought could make me want to go..........all the stories about the great food. Your room actually looks bigger than I expected and the pictures so far look beautiful! And that porthole! How cool is that! The picture of Hunter on his belly is really funny.

Hey Missy! You've been a busy woman this Summer.

I hope I can get an installment posted today.

Love the pictures of your cabin! That giant sized port-hole is great! :) My kids would have been doing the same thing as Hunter!

Thanks! I was pleased with the size of the room and the porthole.

Hey! You're not late!

Wolfgang Puck Express is now on our list of "we gotta eat there" restaurants.

I'll be posting another cruise update very soon.

I wonder if you didn't have the stinky smell because ya'll could open up the verandah door and have fresh air? Yep, the Carnival ship did follow us around didn't it? It certainly wasn't as pretty at the Dream.

We may be headed to Arkansas in a few weeks. I think we're going to Hot Springs the weekend of August 10th.

As slow as I am moving, it shouldn't have taken you long to get up to date. I can't seem to get my behind in gear on this trip report.

So the church song ain't just a redneck thing! Yeah! I thought it was just us Southern church goers who sang that.

Cruising had never appealed to us either until I starting looking at the Disney cruises.

Hunter is so crazy and double jointed too!

I was so worried I was about 5 updates behind...YES! I didn't miss anything!!!! :cool1:

Jen, you know I move slower than molasses! :rotfl:

Welcome home from Disney! Let me know when you start your trip report 'cause I'm bad about not looking at signatures to see the links.

The bathroom smell wasn't overwhelming but it was certainly there.

glad you made it on to the ship!! sorry the food wasn't up to pair. Hopefully, the food will get better!!

Hey ya'll! I'm sorry that I haven't gotten a new installment posted. I've been busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. :crazy2:

We finally got our living room all situated....all new furniture, new television and some accessories to sit around and hang on the wall. It's been years since we've had new furniture and I'm excited to have an all "new" room.

The garden is still producing so I've been busy making homemade salsa, canning string beans and eating so many tomatoes and cantaloupe that I could bust. John's daddy sent us about 100 ears of fresh corn in the midst of my putting up the other produce.

I've also booked our 2013 Walt Disney World vacation!:jumping1: To say that I suffered from sticker shock is an understatement. I 'bout passed out when I saw the grand total. :faint: Mama is right on the edge of the booking cliff.....she's waiting to see what her eye doctor tells her Friday before booking. It's possible that she'll have to have eye surgery and, if that's the case, she may not go because of cost issues. And, if Mama books, then my sister and her husband may be going with us. :woohoo: No matter what, John, Hunter and I will be back at the Caribbean Beach Resort for 11 days/10 nights next May.

Okay, so enough about the excuses of why I haven't updated. The bossman is in court right now so let me see if I can get something written up. TTFN!

That is so exciting. Doing a room completely over is such a lift, isn't it?

Can you come to my house when you are done. Our garden is starting to come in and there are onions hanging out all over my back porch. Not to mention the piles of squash that I can barely give away.

UGH to the sticker shock. Statements like that make me happy for my DVC. I haven't priced out a trip in awhile and I guess I should be glad. I know the last time I bought AP's I just about :faint:

I hope Mama is able to book right along with you. 10 nights sounds awesome!

That sounds like it could be a awesome family trip.
