Excursions- Key West & Grand Cayman

I think my 8 year old would just freek out with the rays all over him, when we cruise the mariner next year with our kids we will probably split up and take the older kids to stingray city and the younger to hell and the turtle farm.

That's the reason we cancelled our excursion to both stingray city and dolphin swim at Cozumel. Michael started having nightmares about the fish eating him. It didn't help that our neighbor/dentist's son told Michael how the sting rays were sucking on his father's pants pocket (where the fish were) and almost ate him. Kids....go figure!

We opted for horseback riding with Nicki at Grand Cayman and enjoyed it immensely.

We were on the Magic 11/08. Captain Marvin was wonderful. We bought the DVD and just received it last week. They did a really nice job!

In KW we went on the schooner which ended up being the America instead of the Western Union. The America was beautiful and the crew was great. My DH and DS(11) helped to hoist the sails and had a great time. You get all the beer, wine, soda, cheese and crackers etc that you want. It was a lot of fun and probably a good excursion for any kids over 3 or 4.
