My family has booked a Dolphin Swim experience in Tortola for an upcoing cruise. On previous cruises, we have done organized tourrs and always tipped the tour bus driver/guide. However, I am not certain what is expected or customary for an activity based excursion like the dolphin swim. For those who have experience with this activity, pleaase share your thoughts pn tipping the person who leads your group.

I have not done that excursion, but I went on a Dolphin swim at Grand Cayman. The bus ride was about 30 min and the driver explained a lot about the island on the way. He pulled over a couple of times to show us Iguanas too. When go off the bus several of the passengers tipped him.

I should have also noted that we will be taking a cab from the port to the excursion location. It was not booked through DCL, but with the provider directly.
