Any one have any reviews or feed back on the following 2 excursions. It’s just me and 3 yr. Old DD and I’m trying to figure out if these excursions will be good or if I should do something else.

St. Maarten: Beach Rendezvous
St. John: no excursion and will just walk around port
St. Thomas: Coral World Comeback
Castaway cay: no excursion, will just enjoy the beach…maybe walk the 5K

DD has never been to the beach so I’m excited to take her but worried about doing too many beaches will make her bored. She does love water but neither she or I can swim. I would love to do some of the history of the island tours but I feel like those are probably not good at keeping a 3 year olds attention and I’m more concerned about giving her an amazing trip then me doing things.

Oh and we have no aquarium by where we live so nothing to compare Coral World too. But it doesn’t seem like there is much at Coral World so I’m wondering if I should cancel and just walk the port (can you walk to pirate museum? Maybe I just do that instead)

Our cruise is 8 nights so, while I’m not against having more time on board the ship, I feel like we will have quite a bit of time on the ship already that doing something’s in port will be fun too.

Just came back from the 9 night. Did the Beach Rendezvous in St. Maarten. Very disappointed. The beach was okay. The restaurant was nothing to write home about---some of the staff was very rude. A lot of vendors on the beach constantly pushing their wares. A polite "no thank you" was ignored and they kept coming back. I would suggest just getting a cab and going to a local beach. We did Coral World on our own, as we scheduled a Sea Lion Swim. The taxi ride was long and rough---big open air, with too many people jammed in. DH got motion sickness from it! Think that may also be where we caught covid! Without an added animal encounter, there isn't much to do. Didn't visit St. John.

Not sure how old your daughter is but mine are almost 10 and absolutely love the beach! If it were me in St. Thomas I would take a cab and do coral world on my own and then right next door is Coki beach and hang there for a bit. When we travel to a beach destination I bring collapsible beach buckets and a few sand toys totally worth it!!! Even last summer at 9 my girls used these things everyday!

Well this makes me second guess my choices. I’m not a fan of just catching a cab cause it’s just me and a 3 yr. Old and I don’t feel safe doing that (I realize it is generally safe but it is still concerning to me give I’m a small size female)

I get it! Yes the pirate museum is walking distance they also have a sky ride right next to it that’s a ton of fun. It takes you to the top of the mountain they have a restaurant and shop up there great view of the ship. What ship are you going to be on? You could also hire a private driver for a couple of hours in either st. Marten or Thomas to take you to some spectacular beaches. I have felt very safe in both locations.

We are on the Fantasy for 8 nights. This is my first cruise as a mom and my first on Disney in over 15 years so a lot has changed. My 3 year old is generally a well behaved kid and will go with the flow but she is still 3 so she likes being busy and has a short attention span. I just want her to have fun. I was hoping the beach rendezvous would be good because it had activities we could watch (like the sand castle competition and water balloon toss) while also having fun at the beach. I get worried when the excursions are super long because idk how she will do but I also think doing 8 nights on the ship with no excursions will be too much ship time. She isn’t huge into shopping so while we can walk around the ports, that would last us an hour or so at most.
