I was just looking on another site and the excursion booklets and forms are posted to look at.

Do we get these booklets before the cruise to make a decision? Seems like a big decision to make.

What all do we receive when people post that their "Docs" are here?

Thanks,
Karen

You can see the excursions on the DCL web site www.disneycruise.com under the "Fun Onshore" link. You can book excursions at the 60 day point after you have paid for your cruise in full. As I recall, we didn't get the actual brochure until our docs arrived.

We received an excursion packet about 65-70 days prior to our cruise. I had heard we were supposed to get one and started panicking because we haden't received anything, then lo-and-behold they appeared a few days before our 60 day sign-up period! We got their official excursion booklet with all the cruuent excursions, prices, times, and their booking numbers. Then there was also a form to fill out and either mail or fax in to DCL. But like the above poster noted you can also book right on line through their website, if you are within the 60 days, but more than 7 days out.

We decided to book other excursions that we found on other websites that suit our more "adventerous" side. So we didn't book any Disney.

Then.....about 1 month to 2 weeks before you leave, you should receive your official "DOCs" - Cruise Documents/Tickets. This will be your actual boarding tickets, immigration forms, luggage tags, and other various information that you'll need to cruise. Make sure and look through it all as soon as you receive them to make sure they are correct! DON'T forget anything at home out of that packet! And, be sure to have everything filled out correctly, as that will make your check in so much easier for yourselves as well as all those people behind you in line!!!!

Thanks for the information! I have been to WDW about 30 times and always feel prepared. This is our first cruise and I feel so "out of it" when it comes to planning. Maybe once school is out for both DSs and myself, I can find time to plan, plan, plan!!!!
