In honor of our new Photo board I have made a change in the board software. When you start a new thread, post to a thread or send a private message you will see a button to the right that says "my pictures" click on open and if you are a user of our free DIS photopost system, located at www.wdwinfo.com/photopost you will be taken directly to your gallery where you can click on the picture and add it to your post!
On the top bar click on insert tools, you will have 4 options
1. Insert a thumbnail that opens to the gallery page when clicked. This is a GREAT option for those that like to post a lot of pictures. You can put one thumbnail in your post and it will open your gallery for more pictures
It looks like this:

2. Insert thumnail that opens the original picture when clicked
To see what this does click on the picture below:


3. Insert thumbnail which JUST does this:

4. Insert original image!




This will be by FAR the easiest way to post photo's on the board

When you click on the photopost link above, on the right hand side, above the pictures in the light blue banner, there's a link to 'register'. Click that and follow the directions

When I click on that I get "page not found" and a list of all the forums and other things on the Dis. What am I doing wrong?

If I follow the links that should lead to photos etc. it leads me back to the original page linked here. So, I guess I need to know how: do I get started?

Hmm, looks like there's a broken link there. That'll need to be fixed before you can register.

Okay, I figured it out, by going to the photography board.
go to the page that is linked above, and click 'login'. Use your same dis log in and password, and you are in. Then go to upload photos and you are on your way.

Now, only one of the photos I tried to upload was the right size. How do I reduce the file size of my pictures so that I can put them in my photo album?

did you click on the bar that says Instert tools and select thumbnail?Did you click on the picture?
