Good afternoon. I just felt the need to share my excitement at the fact we are on the verge of booking for Orlando again!!!!

This trip has come completely out of the blue. We had all the family here for Christmas and alot of the conversations were about good times we have shared in the world......so I wake up this morning to a messege from my mum that went something like this....

'Jordan, do you want to go to Orlando at the end of October'.....Erm let me think about this one for a second...YEEEEAAAAH!:wizard:

After speaking to her, it started getting planned on Boxing Day....and the finer details are:-

Fly out with Virgin on the 28th......Stay at the Regal Sun ( Stayed there before when it was Grosvenor) for two weeks!!!!! :woohoo:

When I went in February it was just with my brother, this time there will be a definate 10 of us (including 2 84 year Grandparents!!! Both of whom rode Splash Mountain in 2009!)

This should all be booked by the end of the weekend and it means I can start saving! Im also trying to get my brother to do a couple of nights down international drive so we are closer to Universal, but that can be decided at a later date!!!!

Great news.
If you are doing DIY post your prices/info and we can see if there are any better prices around for you.

What a perfect ending to the year! A new trip :woohoo: I take it you responded to that text pretty promptly ;)

Your grandparents sound like so much fun! :thumbsup2 What a blast you are all going to have!

Well after a break up in the extended family, the trip to Orlando looks to be stalling now, so me and my brother have decided to go to Las Vegas on the 2nd March!! Flying with Virgin from Manchester and staying for a week at the Tropicana in Vegas! Abit of a last minute thing but I cant wait after I had a good time with my brother in Orlando In Feb!!!

Vegas will be awesome Jordan! I'm thinking of going next year, or possibly over Christmas/New Year. By the way, I insist you do a TR! Loved your last one. :thumbsup2

Hope you manage to sort your Orlando trip out.

Yeah, its pretty last minute too be honest. Found out the couple who were the driving force behind the Orlando trip have split up, so my parents have decided to go to Eygpt instead. My brother had already booked to go to Vegas to go to some racing, so all ive had to do is pay for a flight and pay for his evening meals, so pretty good deal really!

I will deffo do a trip report, I cant gaurantee it will be as eventful as the last one, unless I hit a big jackpot in a casino!!! :scared1:

Yey to a trip report!! Your last one made me laugh!

You will love Vegas - we are booked for our third trip there in June!!

Awe the adult version of florida, you will love it, been 3 times, stayed at the Luxor, a must see hotel, New York New York and great to wonder round the streets and the rollercoster is WILD and the MGM signature suites, was 38 floors up, had fab views of the strip.

Things to do, a sunset helicopter trip to grand canyon is a must, expensive but well worth it. Shop around when you get there for best deal. The strip is full of people advertising it, do it at the end when you've had chance to shop around. Shops at the forums are very interesting, if you're just an average person with an average job you will only be buying from the magnet shop here, $5, everything else will be out of your league, but it's nice to look at what you could aford if you win the jackpot on the slots.

Only take down to the casino what you are prepared to loose, you can play on the 5 cent machines for several hours with just $20, and whilst you are waitresses supply you with free drinks.

Go to the buffets at lunch times, they are cheaper than the evening ones. Paris for breakfast is a must, and to be really cheesy, a boat trip on the gondallas at Venetian.

Have fun.

Chez
:cheer2:

Just another quick update guys.....VEGAS IS BOOKED!!!:hippie:

Were flying out from London Gatwick(i think) on the 2nd March and return on the 9th March! Staying at the MGM Grand!!!! I CANNOT BLOOOMIN WAIT!!!!

VIVVVVVVVVVA LAS VEGAS!
