I am so excited I just spent $21.30, for $45.00 worth of groceries! :yay: I have used coupons, but never done this well. I am trying to get in the habit of going to different stores while I am out taking DD places she has to go. So I am going to more than one store, but wow you can really save. I don't know if I will continue it when I have to back to work at the end of summer, but I thought I would at least give it a try this summer.

You get to where it is second nature. Do you have a website to use that matches deals with coupons? Ours is SouthernSavers.com

I get really excited on Wed. to see what deals there will be for the week!

I typically go to three stores to do my weekly shopping. One grocery store, CVS and Rite Aid. I could do better on groceries if I went to more than one store but that would involve doing grocery shopping on the days I am in the southern part of NH working. And I am just too tired after working and driving as far as I do!

When I took a year off when my daughter was born, I used to visit at least four different grocery stores a week. We had a routine - she liked going to the grocery store fortunately!

Looking good! :thumbsup2 You did a great job!
:cool1: You gotta love it when a plan comes together! :cool1:

I stopped at two stores this morning and managed to spend just under $9 OOP for $36 worth of groceries. With the exception of some Oreos, none of it was junk. I walked out with the 2 bags of Oreos (and got a free milk OYNO Catalina), Bounty napkins, a gallon of fat-free milk, 10 oz. ham, 2 bakery rolls, blueberries, broccoli, string beans, garlic, cilantro and a box of overpriced cereal that wasn't on sale. Half of my money was spent on that darn cereal! :lmao: If it weren't for the fact that my husband has asked me to buy it for the past two weeks, it would still be sitting on the shelf at Safeway!
