Hey everyone! DH and I decided last night to go back to the World for a weekend at the end of October! :cheer2:

I'd like to pack in the two things we've always wanted to do, Food & Wine and MNSSHP. However... I know absolutely nothing about either of them. Can anyone help us out? Are there extra tickets required for these events? Is it too late for us? Help!!

The Halloween party tix are extra but the F & W doesn't require anything other then your already puchased park pass, some cash for the yummies and of course an empty stomach.

Enjoy! The F & W fest last year was awesome for our family and we hit it a few times

MNSSHP is a blast. This will be our 5th year going. If you're planning on going, you should go ahead and order your tickets now because the closer you get to Halloween the faster the party sells out. The party is limited to a certain amount of folks per night. Its not like a regular park day where they cram as many people as they can before they stop allowing folks to enter. The rides are open, there are 2 parades, fireworks, and treats get handed out to everyone all throughout the park.

The Food & Wine Festival, like the other poster said does not require any special ticket, just your regular park admission. You will however need to bring extra money to purchase the food and wine that is offered. It basically takes place around the World Showcase. There are stands located outside around the lake in each country with 4 or 5 different types of food and wine from that country. Prices range from $4~$5 for each entree. The portions are not very big, so you can eat your way around the world without "filling up" at any one particular place. We have enjoyed it the last 5 years that we have been....

We love the Food & Wine Festival. It is our favorite time of the year to go to WDW. This will be my 4th time there for it. DH & I are planning to make it a yearly pilgramage.

Along with the tasting booths, there are complimentary culinary demonstrations and wine tastings in the Festival center. They fill up fast, so check your F&WF guidebook for times & plan to be there about an hour ahead of time. There are many signature wining & dining events for an extra fee which include celebrity chefs, Disney chefs, Food Network chefs & cookbook authors. One popular event is the Party for the Senses, held every Saturday night. There is so much at the F&WF, I couldn't begin to tell you everything. Here's a link with lots of info for you:

Have a wonderful trip!
